8 in · 8 out · Ethernet · NMEA 2000
The DM882 is a fully networked, 8-input / 8-output serial data multiplexer with NMEA 2000 and Ethernet/UDP connectivity. It bridges legacy NMEA 0183, RS422, RS232, and current-loop devices to modern networked plotters, PCs, and mobile devices — all configurable from any web browser, with no software install on board.
The DM882 carries forward the proven multiplexing core of the DM1210N and DM44 — flexible any-port-to-any-port routing, NMEA filtering by talker and formatter, sentence rate control, and full DC isolation between input supply, ground, inputs, and outputs — and adds a modern networked control plane: an Ethernet/UDP bridge for sending NMEA across the boat or ashore, an NMEA 2000 micro-C drop for direct integration with the latest sensors and displays, and a built-in web interface that replaces the legacy Windows configuration utility entirely.
The DM882's configuration interface is served from the device itself. Connect it to your network or directly to a laptop, point any modern web browser at the device, and you have full access to:
No driver install, no proprietary Windows utility, no version-pinning to a specific PC — just a browser. Settings are persisted on the device and survive power cycles.
